Thanks, supposed to be a 138 car, but vin tags have been removed and riveted back on. I think I mentioned this in early post.
Not my car so not worried about it. Just happened to get in Pic. hoist just installed today, waiting for some electrical work. Had ordered it in
early Aug so waited for a bit due to shipping and port back log.

Has alway been a dream, after working at an Automotive shop pall my life. Raising 2 kids and old shop

did not have high enough ceiling for hoist. Now have 2 shops, or 1 Big one with a door in the middle.

Old shop was 27x24 with 11ft ceiling and new attention is 28x24 so 55 x 24 altogether.

Now just have to work for another 5 years to pay for it, LOL. Just a retirement toy. But a few years early.

Good for you Rick. That looks perfect in there. I'm thinking you may even be able to retire a little earlier if you want to and just do a little wrenching in the back yard to supplement your income. Enjoy.

My brother ran into a deal a few years ago for two hoists.

He was really pushing me to buy one from him.

Not as nice as yours.

I didn't because of the set up in my shop, with the door on one side, would not allow me to squeeze in two cars.

Just one thing he noticed.

A hoist is like a pool,

I generates a lot of friends !

The shop that it is in was built for the hoist. And ya 4 neighbours are asking already.

But 2 are very helpful in other ways. One likes to Drink Beer, but drives a FERD. LOL.

Told him his truck is too long to fit in shop.

Why would you leave the garage door open and let the world think you had a Furd?

Probably too long to fit in shop so would have to leave the door open, LOL. Would have to cover it.

Neighbour has same truck and wants to get in shop, Keep telling him it won't fit , too long. LOL.

If you are concerned at all Kevin it is quite easy just to cut out a 30 or 36" square where your posts will be and pour a good 6" pad with some 15m rebar criss crossed in it.  If you don't get to it I'll do it for you next time I come out.  Just have to rent a gas axe and we are good.

I told the contractor that minimum was 4 inches at 3000 psi ( as requested by Hoist company). we did the 4 plus they did 3x3 square under each post location, tied together with rebar
they went down another 6 inches. Just as jerel described. But they did it prior to pouring.
