Steering Wheel For Sale

Steering Wheel Kit, Simulated Wood, 1967 GTO/Pontiac @ OPGI.com

I inherited one of these when I bought my '66, but prefer to keep the black plastic original Beaumont wheel that it came with.  Sells for $469.95 Yanqui bucks on the OPG site.  $300CAD, open to offers.

Hi Chris. Could you put a price in your ad for the steering wheel please? Site rules request that items listed for sale need to have an asking price.

Thanks!

Maybe also move the listing to the appropriate category.

Is the steering wheel you're listing just the steering wheel, or with all the collars and horn button pieces like in the OPGI listing?

This would look SO good on my car but it's not correct for a Strato Chief. I'm having trouble not clicking "Buy It Now"....... I've always thought those are a great looking wheel.

Chris, do you have any idea what it might cost to ship it to Morris Manitoba Canada?

I have the same wheel for my 65 Catalina. Don't know if it will a Canadian column.

I was just assuming it would. I put a 66 Catalina tilt in my 66 Grande Parisienne about 8 years ago. The only thing I had to do was a slight change with the signal cancelling cam. I think I had to drill a hole in it or something. Seems to me it was very easy, there was even a little divot cast into the plastic showing where to drill the hole.

Curious as to was the wood wheel an option on a 67 SD? I have an chance to buy an original wood wheel that was correct on a 67 SS...

Contemporary sales literature makes no mention of an optional steering wheel, and the illustrations all show the hard plastic steering wheels, 2-spoke for '66, and three-spoke for '67.  Mine is incorrect for the year, it's from a '67, but I prefer the look of the horn button with the unique Beaumont emblem, rather than the Pontiac arrowhead that is embossed on the centre cap of this wood-rimmed wheel.

Is the Beaumont emblem removable ? Thinking about using it on my El Camino.

It's a Pontiac horn button, which is why I'm not installing it.
