1969 Beaumont frame detail question

A 1969 Beaumont just came up for sale 10 minutes from and me and though I usually overthink things, I went to look at it quickly.

very solid but it was getting dark so couldnt get great pics underneath but I did notice an area on inside of frame where fuel line mounts that looked a li suspect but Im no expert.  Is the frame open in this area where it narrows and rises towards engine Bay Area?  Edges of the metal were a little rough but based on how solid everything else was I couldnt believe it could be that rusted.

Ive included the best pic I could get and a frame diagram showing area of concern. If anyone has insight would be much appreciated as Im close to pulling the trigger.

thx in advance.

Thank you, cant speak for the rivets but car has Protecto Plate and warranty card and was sold new at our local CHILLIWACK dealership. Possibly removed for paint??

Owner did say interior was refreshed a few years back and is currently black vinyl.

I think 5050 is Dover White top and bottom, can you decode the rest? I have a 68 Manual but not sure codes are the same.

Don't know much about anything but even less for 69s but for how solid all those other pictures look I would be surprised to have a rusted out area like that. Looks like a solid car. Probably worth another good crawl around under there and a little poking.

Thanks for that, Im going again tonight but he has others in the wings if I dont make a decision. The thin spot right where it transitions from an open channel to boxed below cowl has about maybe 1-2 square max thats quite corroded right where fuel line bolts on. Probably easy fix and doesnt appear to affect structure and as you noted, the rest is just so solid, floors, trunk, rockers etc. that pocket of the frame looks like a perfect spot for leaves etc to sit. My convertible frame was boxed all along so nothing could sit in it.

Zooming in on the frame pic it does look like there is some rot below the fuel line. Like the B body cars these A bodies will have the same rust issues where the side rails meet the front frame. Would not be a deal breaker but definitely would need to be considered for a future repair. Also kinda looks like the floor pan has a replacement piece set in and welded from above but with a gap from below. That would need to be sealed.

Did you have an opportunity to go back and have another closer look?

Yes I did have a chance to go again and can see as you noted the damage is minimal. Im no body expert by any means but I think the pics were deceiving as everything else in the floor pans looks original, we had just went for a quick spin and it was damp so I think what you saw was shadows from road spray....I hope ha ha.

Either way neither were deal breakers so I bought the car....will share pics and details soon.
