Wondering if anyone has the part numbers or knows of the availability of these two parts. Also interested in the white plastic lower retainer that is on the A body cars. I had to resort to extreme measures to remove a seized and stripped steering wheel adapter to disassemble the column and filled the upper bearing full of aluminum chips. The lower white plastic retainer was cooked, I assume by heat from headers. The lower bearing can be disassembled but the fibre washer that holds the lubricant was also disintegrated.
Some time ago Carl posted replacement of the lower bearing for his B-body and it looks like the same bearing, just a different retainer.
Would 1966 Chevelle be the same column? I understand 1967 may be different.
