I think there's a 63 Parisienne 4 dr at the Barlow Trail Pick-N-Pull in Calgary. Don't remember if it had the front bumper on it.

They should be able to tell you if there's a 63 Parisienne in there, but won't have any idea if it has the bumper on it.     I can maybe swing by later today and take a look if the bumper is still present.

It's $60 all included (core, recycling fee, GST).   I think it was "Bumper Comp, no absorbers - Car".

They won't remove it for you if that's what you're going to call about.

Their website says Bonneville but it's actually a Parisienne, the same car as I've posted photos of.   It's got a 283 in it.

Timing is everything I am meeting a fellow in Golden tomorrow morning he is coming from Calgary if the bolt pattern is the same I will have to see if I can arrange for someone to remove and maybe I can find someone coming to Kelowna. Just out of curiosity do you know how much it would be to chrome a bumper that size people tell me to get it done in Alberta

The link I provided above shows the same car I took photos of, it's a Parisienne.

Re cost of rechroming a bumper, I'm guessing $800 - $900.

Did you get a buddy to remove it? Did it make it's way to Kelowna, or stay in Calgary to be chromed?

And let us know the quality of the job when done, no good chrome shops around here.

Just got back from PnP where this 63 sits.

I bought the original airbreather and the intact original antenna from the car.

Car was not rotten by any means....a couple of holes here and there.

If a person who has a four dour is looking for a beautiful interior,

colour is brown plaid, (looks like the seats may have been under plastic covers.)

It is really nice, no tears and the door panels are also in great shape.

Worth taking a look if you need a new interior

Time is running out for this car, the row in front has been removed and those cars are headed for the crusher.

You may have 3 or 4 days left to get this interior before this Poncho will suffer the crusher fate.

Good stuff George, glad you were able to grab something from it. I noticed the wiper motor was present, as well as your antenna.

My next door neighbour used Alberta Chrome on a couple of occasions and their job was just gorgeous, real show chrome, much different than the after market stuff we can buy for Chevelles and such.

When I was looking at the 63 in PnP I found a build code paper on the floor of the car...

must have fallen out of the seat. Vintage information. Anybody want to  decipher the build of this 4 door Poncho?

Almost seems a shame this car got scrapped! At least folks are saving their cars with the parts.
