This is a great car for someone who wants to do a little bit of restoration. You will end up with a beauty! 2-Door Hardtop 1 of 2,950 produced in 1961 Car is complete and running All new brakes New carburetor New carpet (not installed yet) New tires and rims Heater and carpet need to be installed Floor and rockers need repair Seats are out of it at the moment Unfortunately, I have lost interest in this classic car as I am working on restoring an antique bus! Asking $9,500.

She doesn't look too bad. Price is fair if it's not full of body fill. If it were mine I'd be sourcing NOS upholstery material and redoing those seats.
Thanks for the link.

A fellow up near the high school had several of those junked, he had a 62 BelAir bubbletop there too. It was located in maybe Bloomfield near the high school. He had 3 or 4 cars with the roofline and fins, whatever they were. Potential good source of parts for you Todd .

Is that the same place that has that extremely rotted 59 El Camino?

Love those 61 Chryslers. I think that car is too close to me that I need to stop looking at it before I do something silly

I love those things. My folks had one when I was an infant (likely a 4 dr Windsor) and I've been in love with the canted headlights & fins of the 61 Chryslers my whole life. What engine would that be? 413? I see it's a big block.

If I had some spare change I'd be on that like white on rice.

Hmm, would likely would be a 361 B engine used in the Canadian built cars. The US produced cars got the 383 RB.

No, that was at a body shop near OLeary, never saw that one but talked to the owner. Been there 30 years or so.

I understand the 62 bubbletop is on the road again and now a burgundy colour.

I swapped a series of notes with the owner.  It's not a numbers matching engine, and he was told it was a 413.   I had him send me a photo of the area by the distributor hold down clamp, it's a 361B or 383B engine.  The 383 RB (raised block - tall deck) engine I mentioned above was only offered for a couple years.  383B was around for many years.  Definitely not a 413.
