I've sprayed Fluid Film myself using a set of drive on ramps to allow better access. Still, once you are finished expect to be sore for about 3 days lol.
If you have it sprayed, check their work before you leave. I have seen instances that when busy only where you can see is sprayed. I had a customer that had a pickup sprayed and nothing underneath was done, the hoist must have been busy.
Krown or rust check are both good. Have them spray inside the bumpers, the ends sometimes get missed, they should remove the taillights, plus spray the top of the gas tank if its not plastic. Krown or rust check are not supposed to effect rubber or electrical, plus rain washes it away. Petroleum stuff will damage asphalt.

I was surprised to hear a lot of people dont want holes drilled in their new vehicles. Just as important to get that stuff on the inside channels too
Yup, the beauty of that stuff is that it gets into the crevices between spot welded panels, where the factory applied E-coat is generally thin or non-existent, and any zinc coating that may have been on the steel would be burned away by the spot welding process. Also, the thinnest paint on any body or chassis panel is the sharp panel edge, where a burr may be present from the stamping process - the Krown protects these edges as well, where corrosion often starts.
I have a '97 that we bought in '99, and an '07 that we bought when it was 11 months old. Both cars have spent every winter outside in the east coast winters (lots of road salt and humidity), and neither car currently has any visible or structural rust on them. The stuff works.
Full disclosure, on my cars I'd always look them over after they were done, and apply spray bomb Rust Check to any areas that look like they didn't cover well. Also, I'm lazy and don't like replacing brake lines, fuel lines or power steering lines, etc., so I'd make sure they were all covered well - especially in the engine compartment where they tend to stay away from the engine - but with the spray bomb and tube you can be very accurate and only get it on places you want it to be.
My son owns two Krowns 1 in Port Colborne and Welland. He also has a mobile unit for doing fleet businesses
for big trucks and buses.
