They are still out there in hiding! Great car! Not green either.

Good looking car. I'm surprised it has the Air Injection Reactor (AIR) pump.
The front bumper has been off it at some point, as the carriage bolts have the heads up. They're to have the heads down, but many people put them up for a smoother look.

Yes , you do not see many with the smog... most were pulled and thrown away back in the day
It's those little details that I find fascinating on an original car.
The bumper bolts are on top with nuts on the bottom, out of sight.
Most of our 69s are like the car below with the ugly nuts showing.
I reversed mine when I redid my car last year.
I saw this once before and assumed the owner did it but now I am thinking it was a engineering change on the assembly line sometime in late 1968 or early 69.
Please Sir,
Can we have a picture of the Jacking instructions.
I used a US 68 sticker on my car because it was closer in appearance to the Canadian 69.
A truly wonderful car and thanks for sharing with us.
I want to dedicate a big thank you to everyone who has responded to my posts...all your comments , suggestions are very much appreciated!! I am knew to this site and really amazed with everyones enthusiasm with these cars...never would I have thought this car would bring so much attention, but I totally agree...it is one of a kind. I will definitely keep it as a keepsake as this car was purchased by my father the year I was born still to this day at 76 years old I still see the glitter in his eyes when he is around the car!!!....it has been his passion and his >baby>
Thanks everyone!!
I spoke to Serge earlier today and he asked my opinion about having the car repainted as there's a couple of scratches and painting the engine. I strongly feel the car should be left alone and kept completely as it is as I feel any restoration work aside from maintenance will greatly deminish the value of this car and also remove any chance for folks to see how these cars were put together. Same goes with parts that fail like a starter/alternator etc. They should be rebuilt or at least kept if replaced. Do you guys agree?
I agree. They are only original once and as is, this car is a treasure trove of information. The way I look at it, is that any dings or scratches along the way are part of the car's story, but moreover there are very few people in the world that can say their 1969 car is completely original - as soon as you paint it you can no longer say it. It's beautiful as is.
Black out treatment between the taillights was only (on US cars-full-size and A body also) done on light colored cars and only up to mid-October 68 production. Id imagine it was the same at Oshawa.
As the former owner of a handful of GM big car 4 speeds I can only add that the only thing better than reading this post would be watching Serge or his pops driving this car. What a car, words don't do this beast justice. :)
I love this site, still hoping to find a 65 Laurentian factory 4 speed one of these days...........
