Random old photos

I recovered some data from an old hard drive a while ago, and they managed to save some of my old photos.

The first one is from a car show in Vancouver in the mid 70's. A Beaumont I used to see occasionally in Vancouver on the street.

This photo is from 1975 taken on Barcello Road in Cawston, BC, when we were allowed to use it for racing. The Beaumont pictured was a Vancouver car, and was the tow car for the Vega alcohol funny car also seen. The Beaumont had a 454, side pipes, stinger hood, and a custom paint job by Boots Custom Pinstriping. I never saw the car again after this.

I never saw an Acadian or Beaumont running on the days that I attended, but here's a couple of GTO's.

That's an interesting vinyl (is it vinyl) top on that silver GTO.

Patterned tops were a bit of a thing in the early 70's. You could get them as aftermarket at trim shops!

Towing my 65 Acadian with a Dodge Challenger on a trailer, with a bumper hitch. My car suffered a broken Flex plate in Hope BC, so my friend came and got me.

John, you know Acadians better than that........!!! (Unless it's got the wrong tail panel treatment on an actual 65 car)

This was 1975, and it had the 65 front end. I remember it being a 65. That's the only photo I have of it.
