I have a friend selling his 39 Business coupe here in northern BC. He had it fully restored in Kamloops and it does not have the original engine as far as numbers goes but this is a beautiful Canadian Chevy.. He put over $70 grand into the restoration and now is selling it as not been using it up there in the great white north. He wants to get 40 out of it and I am not sure so just asking what everyone thinks?
First of all, good to hear from you again Pete. Looks like that could well be as nice a 39 as you could find But what kind of dollars it will bring is unclear. The purchasing field is just getting a little bit narrower all the time dating back to these except maybe the 34 roadsters and such. Definitely worth it as it shows beautiful but may take awhile to find a seller at that price. Love the look of the car. My cousin has a 38 with an LS in it.
