The $ being paid for Australian performance cars at the moment is crazy. Even the more common and lower performance stuff like Torana SLR5000 and XU1 plus the smaller engined (307, 253, 308) Monaro GTS's is crazy. I personally think it is some sort of money laundering going on as there is no way some of these cars are worth close to $US400000.

There was speculation this is happening at a lot of auctions. Or some folks are really flush with cash during the pandemic. Lots of "hard items" are fetching big bucks. I heard the other day Sports Cards are way up in value.

What other Holden stuff would you like? Just ask. I have massive amounts of historical info on proper Holden cars (1948-1984, 48/215 through to WB Holden). And heaps on other stuff that gets lumped in as Holden but is just other GMH product like Torana.
