Excellent post, Todd. I have been to the Dwarf Museum in Maricopa, Arizona a couple of times. Ernie Adams takes visitors on a thorough tour of his many projects that he has completed over the years. His craftsmanship is incomparable.
Naturally, my two favorites are the '42 Ford and the '49 Mercury. This tour is a must visit if you are interested in cars and are ever visiting Arizona.

Agreed, a must visit. I went March 2019 and again March 2020 when we were in Arizona. The house we rented was maybe 20 minutes from Ernie's (actually less, but I got lost.....) so had to do it.  It's pretty cool and also as Pritch said, I love the 49 Merc. 

 

The cool thing is, Ernie doesn't just build them for show, he drives them. And he's not a small guy, I'd guess him to be about 6'2". He said he's driven one of the cars over 50,000 miles, I think it's the turquoise Chevy. 

 

His buddy is building a dwarf 64 Impala SS convertible there.
