Anyone ever order from Hubbards?

I have looked often at Ames parts catalogue but never ordered anything. Never heard of Hubbards before.

I have dealt with hubbards lots with no problems, but i have always seen them at USA swapmeets and had parts shipped to a USA address

ive never had anything sent over the border from them tho

Last summer I needed to replace the passenger door mirror as it would not stay in position when the door was closed. The mirrors originally were the round style and the Impala had rectangular. I went to their website and found a pair of rectangular ones.

The mounting holes were slightly different but Exeltec found a wat to secure them. The base gasket was identical to the one it replaced

Now I can set it and forget it!

Hubbard was the best price for all my console tidbits in my four speed conversion.

Transaction was smooth and no issues in delivery.

Have dealt with both without good results. Like others I usually ordered ahead and then picked up at Spring Carlisle.
Did have an order from Ames where they shipped a substitute part. Ordered a non A/C glovebox and they shipped an A/C one because it was what they had in stock. Explained that the reason I needed the larger non A/C one was because I wanted to put a modern CD player in it. They agreed to ship the proper one as soon as it came back in stock, which they did. Said to also keep the A/C one as it wasn't worth the cost of returning it.
