Looking for a set of 215/70/14 Wide Whites that someone is looking to move.Would consider smaller white stripes tires as well with good tread and condition.Trying for a correct look on a 60 Ventura.Shipping from Ontario west can be arranged! Let me know if you have a set that you'd like to move...located in Saskatchewan not far off Trans Canada highway.Thank you!

My tyre guru managed to get me Cooper 215 75 14s with thin white walls. However, that was quite a few years ago and he said he would no longer be able to get them because the dinosaur content had been outlawed by Europe. Hopefully, they're available in N. America.
Since, with a few exceptions, we're stuck with all the restrictions they imposed before we left the "Union", it's unlikely that particular law will be rewritten now we're no longer ruled by Brussels. Along with vacuums that don't work because of ridiculous limits on the wattage of motors (I managed to buy two and some spares before that nonsense), stain removers without the chemicals that actually remove stains, I could quote dozens of examples of absurd committee decisions by the European Aviation Safety Authority that have severely affected my little business. A very experienced electrician friend has shown me mandated replacement switch components that are actually dangerous.
Most of us hope for better decisions now they're being made in Westminster again.
Interesting, i run a 215 75 14 on my 64 beaumont, they are old now about 12 years ago i bought them. nobody makes that size anymore unfortunately. seems like coker and other specialty places are the only ones handling 14 " anymore. guess i better stock up on 15 inch steelies!!!
sorry this one went over my head: "Dinosaur content"?

MY BEAUMONT HAS 4 STUDDED TIRES AND 2 BLOCKHEATERS......AND LOTS OF OIL UNDERNEATH. The other one has a longer roof.
Hankook Optimo H724 215 75 R14 had white walls available just a few years ago.
Regards, Scott
Yeah that is what I'm running on my car now. I think they are close to 3 years old. I think they were only about $75 a corner back then. They seem to go round and round anyhow.

It was a reference to the amount of oil products used in the manufacture of those particular tyres and the common misconception that dinosaur remains form a part of the oil. That became part of my feeble attempt at prose.
Having re-read it, I think I may have been somewhat over political in the rest of the post. If that's offended at all, or is against forum etiquette, I apologise.
Recently picked up a new set of 215 70R14 Uniroyal Tire Paws with 3/4" white wall. Build dates of 2018 and 2019. Brand new on S10 or Monte Carlo rims for $500.
I do see them on eBay but always wondered if they were much older stock.
Both Coker and Universal have a 14" off brand narrow whitewall for $90US it's just to get to the states to get them as shipping is crazy. ( same tire that Queensway quoted me $229Cdn for )
As long as I can find 15" steels that my dogdish fit I'll likely switch to 15"s. I want a bit taller tire. The biggest 14" tire I can find is a 225-70-14" and I'd like a bit taller to go along with my non-overdrive manual trans. 2800 RPM on the highway is not to my liking.

Crap Carl..you already cut one hump!! Just might have to tweak another for a gear vender and mount a splitter on the shifter!!!
Carl, my 15 inch have 4 hubcap bumps, if you happen to see them at a junkyard. Stock 63 dog dish are tight but work fine. Just have to be careful getting them on and off. Likely from a 70s full size gm, I bought them from a guy running them on a 71 Nova, he went to chrome.
