I had been digging out some stuff lately and putting it for sale on Kijiji.

I have dealt with some nice people.

The riding lawn mower that I got 15 years ago and has been sitting behind my shop I got my asking price of $120.

The mower deck, for a different tractor, I was going to get my asking price but I knocked of $20 because I noticed that one baring was no good. I had advertised as "good working"

The other parts I had, I pulled the adds for four weeks.

Had this stuff forever, what's a few weeks.

I wonder if you will see a reduction of adds for a while.

In the past, the total number of Kijiji Ontario, Classic cars ads, usually total between 4,000 and 5,000 ads

Right now 2,500 ads.

Supply and demand ?

I'm still blown away with the cost of lumber and I really doubt once things go back to "normal" that the price will drop.

Agree. I did two large reno projects since the pandemic started and the growth in cost of materials, not to mention the delays in receiving them, was amazing.

As a result, I  have decided not to do the third reno project I was planning for this year. I'm not sure I could get the materials in any event, such are the supply issues.

Covid has thrown a wrench into everything! We can't get welding machines to sell along with plasma cutters, auto helmets etc. Hypertherm has SIX thousand 45xp's on back order!! Have 7 Miller 220 sold that we don't have yet!! Zero aluminum on the Island for our boat builders! Have one customer that works with 90% aluminum and can't get. No material.....no income... Glad I bought all the parts for the c-10 a few months back. Was curious so looked at Rock Auto for body sheet metal..out of stock...out of stock..out of stock.... Everyone at home buying parts for their vehicles and doing house renos and to add to it factorys shutting down from Covid. Plus everyone spending like crazy because interest rates are so low....just one thing stacked onto another..... The perfect storm to jack prices up...

I heard on Friday one PEI builder bought all of the drywall inventory on the island. Now regular folks are posting on Facebook asking where to get it.

When I was a teenager, I worked for an Ontario Land Surveyor, who only drove Lada's to the jobsites. It was the worst car I've ever been in.
He once tried to pass a school bus but ran out of acceleration half way past and had to back off. The heater didn't work in the winter and the wiper
blades never worked, so on rainy days I would have to get out of the car and rub a cut in half potato on the windshield. The oil from the potato would
repel the rain water. What a horrible car.

Regards, Scott (LandShark ...)
