Over two years ago I got this collection of MT mags from good member Don (bigdreams). I've basically had 2 years of reading and looking through them, I've gone through them twice, some a lot more than that, and they are packed full of stuff that would be of interest any 60 car guy. It's an nostalgic peek back in time to see how things used to be, and how society actually thought at the time. You'll come to the conclusion of how this magazine was really in the pockets of the big 3. Even the advertising is interesting. But now they deserve to be read by someone else, not just put away in the dark.
The collection is 61 to 72 with a couple of stragglers to 75? There is about 50 magazines. The complete 12 months is in no way represented in any year, but 64-69 seem to be the most complete.
Some of the 61's have been taped on the spine, but most all of them are in pretty decent shape, some perfect... albeit a little musty and some yellowed.
$80 shipped anywhere in Canada and you have a bathroom library good for years. $50 if you pick them up. I think that is pretty much what I paid, and yes, 50 mags are heavy.
Do you by chance have the issue that has the 62 or 63 novav 8 conversions out lined in it .if so would you be interested in selling just the one thanks for your time Jim
I like that kind of stuff largely for the same reason as you. The car stuff is very cool but what is says about that disappeared society is even more interesting. I'll take em. You can PM with postage costs etc.
