66 Caprice Wagon, Dundas, Ont.

Unmolested, clean, no hit, rust free and documented survivor from Montana with 75,313 miles. 2019 Carlisle show winner. Matching numbers 327 V8 – 275HP including Powerglide automatic, starter, 4 barrel Rochester carburetor, and alternator. Protecto-Plate. Original Artesian Turquoise laquer paint, interior, weather stripping, and chrome. PS, PB, tinted windows, Sears air conditioning (installed in 1967), hitch, air shocks. New tires, AC/Delco battery, fuel pump, ball joints, control arm bushings. Perfect classic for cruising, camping, hauling. WILL CONSIDER TRADE FOR 86-91 WESTFALIA

Exterior: Generally very good - excellent original unrestored condition. Factory original Artesian Turquoise laquer finish remains in generally very good condition with minor wear, chips and scratches. Fitted with its original exterior wood grain trim and moldings which reveal aging throughout. Doors, rockers, roof, quarter panels are in generally excellent damage free and rust free condition. Original weather stripping in excellent condition. Rear bumper is in very good to excellent rust free condition with a couple minor dings. Front bumper is in excellent rust and damage free condition. Fitted with original T3 headlamps and correct tinted glass in excellent condition. Underside body and frame are in a superb unrestored rust free state. Engine compartment very clean. Interior: original two-toned turquoise vinyl in excellent condition. Headliner, dash, door panels, steering wheel in generally excellent damage free condition. Carpets in very good - excellent condition. $26000

I agree it is quite something but boy did they ever screw the pooch with that front fender wood grain siding design.

 I'd only own a wagon with the faked up wood grain siding, its that kind of kitsch that I like about the 50s and 60s designs, ugly and cliché when you lived it but very cool now.

 I get that, and won't say that I wouldn't own one, just that I 'wood' prefer one without...  just a personal preference, like I also don't care much for vinyl tops (but wouldn't not buy a car I like just because it had one).  Not that anyone really cares what I like, but it's the internet, so... biggrin
