Been dealing with Ken Yackimec over his purchase of a set of Corvette wheels.
Got a quote from Purolator and Ken e-trans the money right away and the wheels went west.
Today I recv'd a surprise on my MasterCard when the Purolator charge was approx $75.
more than their estimate. Called Purolator and they said that when they recv'd the 4 boxes they
had to be re-evaluated by volume, therefore the price jumped 30%.
The boxes were 22x22x11 @ 25 lbs each Purolator charged as 39 lbs.
E-mailed Ken and he wasn't surprised and immediately sent me the difference.
