Hi... It's not a members car as far as I know. I looked at it today. Real "good bones" Mint frame and engine compartment area. A very good start for a restoration, won't be for sale for long..

Cheers

Definitely looks like 2drpost's car. How many 427 4 speed White 69 2 door posts are in Ontario ? 2drpost was in Kettleby ON last I knew and ad says Utterson which is in Muskoka.

Where did you see the car LT1Caddy?

Our member who has the twin to it is Dave. The ad says Douglas is the seller but of course lots of people don't list their real name on Kijiji. Do you know if his name is actually Dave?

Yes, my old '69 Belair, sold it Sept 2019 to someone from Huntsville area. Has some body issues he makes no mention of. I put a clean Calif desert frame under it.

Recently picked up a '49 GMC project...anyone have any parts to sell lol

Hi...Yes, that is 2drpost's car. The owner told me the car was from the Newmarket/Kettleby area. I lived in the area till a few years ago and knew exactly where Kettleby and Snowballs corners were.
The frame was like brand new....!!

It's a looker for sure (I really like the '69 big Chevys), but is $24,500 considered a good starting point for a restoration?  Man, things have changed - I'd be looking for a nearly finished or good original car for that money.

Is it an original 427 4-speed car?  That might change the price situation a little, though it already doesn't have the original engine if it is... smile

Agree Mark. When I said it was reasonable I too felt that would be a good price for a nearly finished car.

'Needing work' certainly knocks this price down considerably, especially when not original.

I really really like the car, but would be hesitant based on the bodywork and paint required, unless it were a lot cheaper.

I like what was done for the conversion, BTW.  The widened rallys look tough enough but still harken back to original.  Just well done in concept overall.

And a great looking bodystyle, I might add.

The only thing I'd add are disc brakes- all around..........
