Some of those cars definitely deserve to see the light of day, and some ... oh well ...

The only thing worth anything there is the SD 4 speed car. The rest are just generic T/A /Firebirds. No Special Edition(s) w/Fisher Roofs. A '73 Brewster Green T/A 4 speed 455 car would have been a find. Nothing to see here folks.........

A guy pulled up to my place on the weekend with what he said was his car from 1980, a red on red Trans Am. Said he just got it out of garage after 26 years and had it to a shop to get it once overed and tuned up.

The reason he stopped was because I was working on my Corvette with the garage doors opened and he asked me about his idle. It was idling at close to 1500 rpm, so much for that mechanic he took it to. Car was mint, I popped the hood to fix his idle and what do I see, yup a smog burdened 4.9 litre. Anyway I adjusted his carb and he went on his way. Would a 4.9 litre even chirp the tires?

Maybe if you back up about 20 mph, slam it into drive and mash the gas pedal.

Yes she gets some interesting auctions.  That auction you refer to was a highlight for me and also was a 2 week round trip with my Beaumont to Nebraska.

Sounds like a nice cruiser.  At this point in my life I pretty much appreciate any mint condition 40+ year old car, regardless of horsepower.
