This is scary. Our daughter and son in law say they want my Strato Chief and I should buy this car. Crazy thing is, I have a complete 427/4 speed/bench seat shifter setup for a 66. I may have to go look at this car.
Carl... I will send you the address to get rid of that 427/bench seat shifter that is "cluttering" your work bench. shipping is paid for....LOL
LOL, I'm afraid the stuff is not for sale. I keep it in hopes that one day I will find my ultimate dream car. There is one car in the world that I would give up my Strato Chief for, an original rust free NICE 66 Grande Parisienne 2 door. I still want a 427 4 speed Grande Parisienne. That is the car at the top of my list.

Or nicer? I imagine you would be looking for something that was as mint and original as your Strato was when you got it.
The Parisienne looks nice. Should be a good deal for someone who wants a nice driver, or a hot rod project. I like it as it is, but I'm not in the market for an old car.

Yes, that is pretty much what I want. Unfortunately both the cars you listed have mention of rust repair being done on them. It's likely I will never find a Grande Parisienne that hasn't had any panels replaced or patched but it's not impossible. Both those cars are great looking cars but just not what I want.

Makes sense, Carl. I mean why would you want to go backwards and end up with something not as nice as you currently have? I'm sure there's a good one out there as you see stuff coming out of the woodwork all the time.
