Hydrate freely and seek "cool spots" if your mind starts to go - like, you begin to admire passing Fords.

Warm here, but bearable.

Not hot enough for Fords to catch my eye.

Lots of records being broken,

but is not the first "heat wave"  encountered in North America.

This is a partial list of temperature phenomena

that have been labeled as heat waves, listed in order of occurrence.

Yeah but it is a dry heat here. Right but still warm. Worked until mid afternoon in the shade but this is the warmest temperature I have ever been in. Power bill will be high this month as our windows havent been open in the evenings for 5 days at least.

Hit spot for Canada (Lytton) is now burnt up, fire tore through wed, town was evacuated within an hour of fire starting.

Appears to have to been moving too fast to fight. Hopefully everyone got out safely.

I feel bad for the folks in Lytton. They didn't really have a chance to get their belongings and in some cases pets.

"Only" 14c here today. We actually fired up the woodstove for an hour or so to get rid of the chill and damp.

Yes, it is going to be around that temperature for the remainder of this weekend. Actually, I'm finding it a nice change (I'm not a heat lover anymore).

I agree. I've been working in my shop and it's been nice. Installed a 220V outlet for my welder yesterday.
