 They disappeared when every car started to come standard with AC, PW, PS, PB, AT,  P Seats, PDL, remote trunk & hood latches, TPS, ABS, 6 air bags, cruise control, lane departure warning, collision avoidance, reverse cameras, GPS, infotainment systems, traction control, and 11 cup holders.

Almost forgot Power mirrors, heated/cooled seats and steering wheels and Bluetooth.
