Saw someone posted something about Ebay asking about ones banking info.

Did it get resolved or what came about ?

If you want to sell on eBay you need to give them your bank info so they can directly deposit the funds from the sale and withdrawal their fees etc etc. No way around it.

Do you sell in US funds ? Are you able to transfer US funds into your US bank account ?

 Yes you can keep your funds in USD , by setting up a USA account with your bank. No need to transfer, as eBay will deposit your funds into the account you choose

Just an FYI, I just did this. And back to the beginning. Any sales you make if you are a casual seller are now placed on hold again. Even though my account is active 100% feedback and used frequently and 18 years old. Switching over to this new payment system. They placed everything I sold today (5 auctions), and paid funds on hold until shipment is confirmed received.

That's what happened to me after a year of not selling. My funds were on hold. Guess what? Buyer received the item yet my funds weren't released. Did the live chat with eBay and they said it was a Paypal issue. Took quite a while chatting with Paypal to finally get them to release my money. Hopefully that doesn't happen to you Mike and shouldn't since I guess they aren't using Paypal anymore (?).

Also found it frustrating they held the amount the buyer paid for shipping. Would have been nice to have those funds free when I shipped the item!

I remember you saying that. So I went on the chat with them before hand and got a copy of him saying it will be released when the shipment tracking shows received. I will hold them to that. Not that over $1000 gets held for over a month. (5-10 different packages going out all over and who knows with the delays). Once it shows received. I am going back on the chat. 

But I had sold stuff a month ago and they never it held it. It was as soon as I put in the bank account info, they placed it on hold.
