You asked for an opinion....

Don't know much about Mustangs.....I find they aren't really unique anymore, too many of them around.

Maybe  this one is high on the price?

This one in Calgary...lower KMs.

Same car asking $16,500 on Kijiji Calgary.

Like I said I don't know Mustangs.

Yes V8's and manual would make a difference.

Didn't they come out with the 302 that year?

The one in Calgary is a V6 automatic. Totally not what you are looking for.

Quite comparable to other CS Mustangs out there.

Some value is lost with aftermarket rims.

I would give yourself a 24 hour cool down on this one.

To me,

the 2014s, are the ones to have.

This one is missing a pedal no

As a lifelong Ford and Mustang fan, I would suggest that this CS model looks pretty sweet. I own a white 2013 V6 model which has only 19,223 km's on it but it is a coupe, not a ragtop. It is a fun car to drive. I expect the V8 and standard would double the pleasure. Also, the white and black add to the classic look. You definitely will pay more for the CS trim. One has to be careful with these high powered muscle cars in that the tend to get driven pretty hard. The pictures of this one suggest that it has been taken care of since new. A personal inspection would be ideal. Good luck.

As much as I'm a GM guy for old cars I must admit I prefer Mustangs over the newer Camaro's, I just don't love the 2010 and up Camaro styling. I had a 2011 Mustang GT Convertible a few years back, 6 speed, Brembo brakes etc (see pic), super nice car to drive and that Coyote engine really likes to rev and with min. 412HP on tap (later models had a touch more) it's no slouch!!  In fact wife is potentially looking for a 'toy' too so we're considering getting another to supplement my Beaumont wink

Price for the one you were looking at seems reasonable, maybe a touch high based on BC market as here's one (I know not white) for a few dollars less.

Hope that helps!

Is the 'Cuda actually happening? Seems to be a lot of rumours out there but I haven't seen any solid info on it yet.  Maybe it will be electric? confuse

I've had a 2006 GT for 7 years now, and will probably keep it till I'm in the ground, I like it that much.

I don't know if there's much I can help you with, as there were a lot of changes by 2012 - 14, but PM me if you have any questions and I'll be glad to answer what I can.

Also, there are quite a few Mustang forums out there with some great info as to their quirks, etc., it would be a good idea to read through some of those.

Good luck!

Thanx for all the help everyone. Very specific what I am after.

Sold our 62 Corvette (after 28 years) some 10 years ago and now have a lead on one nearby.

It's white w/red guts and may be available soon. Unfortunately it will be a whole lot more $$$$$ than a Mustang

but at least I can fix it......smile

Make sure its not double nutted!! Sounds like a real nice car and white with red guts is one of the best.

If I get it Don I'll check with Phil on how to determine double nuts (LOL). To everyone else this is an inside joke

from another forum that Don and I are on. One of the regulars there bought a 62 Vette and could not get the mag wheels off

after removing what he thought were the only nuts. Turned out someone had double nutted the wheels.......bleh
