Another Pontiac in the family (but a bit newer, a winter project)

Thanks to a lead from a local CP member who has become a very good friend (he will remain nameless unless he chooses to post here), a fun winter project followed me home today.

94 Trans Am, LT1/4L60E, leather and all the options including T-tops, 202,000 km. Needs a bunch of little stuff. PW motor, door latch spring, wiper switch, tires are cracked, air bag light is on, stuff like that. Runs and drives, BC car and never saw winter after it came to MB. Block heater cord has never been unwrapped from the way the factory shipped it. The guy I bought it from bought it in 1997.

Me too but I can't fall in love with it. I'm hoping our daughter and son in law will though!

No, can't keep it so no point in doing that to it. It likely will be an easier sell with 2 pedals.

Nice score, and in a great colour!

I liked the early 4th gens the best - clean styling.  Have fun with it!

"Doesn't need a big block and 4-speed"... lol   wink

I agree with all 3 statements. The one thing the early ones really lacked was a nice hood until the WS6 package came out with the nice Ram Air hood in 1996.

Cool car, I always liked those, they drive and handle so nice and are technically classics now (25 years old) but with a much more modern driving experience. I have to admit I was never a fan of those wheels though (dont care for any wheels with 3 spokes but thats an easy fix ). T tops almost make it feel like a Convertible too! Good luck with it, interested to see what you do to it.

I do like the later ram air hood, but I have to say I don't mind the "innie" hood that yours has.

Sweet car. And, fits the "Canadian Pontiac" motif, having been assembled at the Ste-Therese plant, north of Montreal. Now a commercial mall.

Oh yes, we still have it. We've enjoyed it for 10 years now. We don't need two of them!

It will likely be a bit before I do but I hope it will happen. I'll send you a PM.
