Just watched it tonight. Wondered why he would do such a thing when Bricklin went through the same thing only a few years earlier ?

I could be wrong.
I didnt finish the documentary yet. But I just watched Driven (on Netflix as well)
But John was saying he didnt want a deal because he was worried about being bought out or them making him an employee down the road. He wanted the control.
