Seller has ads on kijiji looking for people to sell their classic cars to him for wholesale prices. Why would anyone do that? I will put the money in my pocket before I put it in anyone elses
Some people want to sell but just don't want to deal with all the haggling, drama, trade offers etc. I don't understand the thinking either but for some people they just don't enjoy that part of selling.

A buddy of mine wanted to sell his 70 LS6 Chevelle, but didn't want to write up any type of a description, take photo's, and deal with the "bxllshxt" as he called it. He just wanted someone to show up at his door and hand him a cheque. He learned of a guy about 45 minutes out of Calgary who would do everything for him, but didn't want to pay for the gas to drive out there for a photo session. Some guys just don't want to put any effort into selling their car.
You are right. I've sold a few items for acquaintances in the last 10 years for people who exactly don't want to deal with any of that. One client usually gives me a number and I can keep anything over that number. He had some high end vehicles and a boat that were very easy to sell, many times in a week or so. I enjoy doing the pictures, placing the ad, and fielding the calls. Made way more money on them than I did working construction. Good supplement for my pension and enjoyable too.

I just picture some dude in a plaid suit waving a handful of hundreds at some desperate seller: "Come on, it's not even worth half what you are asking, but since I'm in a good mood today..."
Good day, Im a dealer coming to beautiful Nova Scotia cash in hand to buy some classic cars or trucks, must be in driving condition and not need of restoration . If you are interested in selling at wholesale price Text or call me . Thanks
"Fully Restored" with a newer crate engine!!! Restored means born with driveline or date coded. And GM didn't issue them there wheels in '69. Sorry. That's the difference between a car guy and a guy who likes cars. My 2 cents............
