Would anyone have a parts car or old harness theyd be willing to cut the headlight plug off of (with a bit of wiring to allow me to graft it in)? I need to replace the plug on my 58 Pontiac. It appears the plug is the same for 56 thru 60 Pontiac.
If it uses the same style terminals as the 60's GM's you can actually easily remove the wires and plug them in to the new connector. Much nicer than splicing. Also, those terminals are readily available. Do you happen to have a picture of it?

Sorry for the late reply to this. I actually picked up a pigtail for the car and have it installed. A soldering iron and some shrink wraps and all is good. It definitely needed some attention.
I keep forgetting to get back to you, as I do not have an xtra plug. I did meet a guy at the Ancaster swap meet , last sunday, and he thought he might have that part , as he has some 58 chev parts, that' all the info I have on that . His name (on his card) Chris email csn58@bell.net .Hope that helps
