Getting closer to finishing the shop. One side is drywalled and painted, the other side has drywall hung and taped, and Center section is getting insulation and drywall tomorrow. Sooooo close. Heat pumps getting hooked up in a couple weeks, hopefully keep me nice and toasty for the winter months. Outside lighting and plugs still need to be installed but it will be weather tight and ready for the cars.
Thanks Frank. Poured the concrete on December 29 and Ive been picking away at it ever since. Hard go when you do 90 percent of the work by yourself, but definitely A LOT more rewarding. Plus, I know exactly what I have and know that there were no corners cut. Definitely a dream shop that I am very fortunate to be able to call my own

Technically yes, but I dont have water run to it yet. That will be later on down the road. I built it so that if we were to subdivide and sell it that it could be converted into a home. wont be happening during my lifetime, but you never know.
Great idea. Wish I had more land here. Only for a sixth of it.

House is around 3000ish square feet and on a slab. Wife commandeered the first detached garage (750 sq.ft) as her office, attached garage is for her vehicles, so the agreement was I get the shop I have always wanted. Damn I love that woman!!
PS. This was supposed to be a response to your previous post

Lighting is complete! All lit up inside as well. With daylight getting less and less each day it will let me work on finishing and painting the interior. Then its figuring out where stuff should be put inside. Heat pumps being hooked up Monday. Good thing as the frost has been on the roof a couple of mornings already.
Got the ceiling painted and some of the cabinets hung in the middle section today. Heat pumps are up and running and gutters were installed the middle of last week. Oh so close to being completed. Long haul but damn, Im a happy camper
PS, Im not finished with burning to wood on the walls if anyone spied that it wasnt completed
