Police confirm that 70 vehicles were towed from the roadways.

Of those, 33 were removed for safety infractions,

22 for stunt driving, and four for impaired driving.

Altogether, 383 offence notices were issued over three days.

Police had a large part of the downtown core by Beach area 1 closed off on Saturday afternoon.
Having a hard time with the four impaired driving charges. You show up, with a car that attracts attention, to an area crawling with cops who are looking for any excuse to question you and then you ever imbibe. The thought process is certainly not working.
How do these people ever afford insurance etc after these charges?

 The Halifax situation was just a bunch of university students going overboard with a "homecoming" party.  I think the London situation was similar.  Had nothing to do with car rallies and such.

And, let's face it, old farts like us aren't going to be getting loaded in public and racing/showing off on public streets. Unfortunately, lumping us in with the rice rocket/juiced-up Mustang and Camaro set, is inevitable.

The London uproar seems to have been students on foot, not in cars, too....
