Spare Tires

Keep a 125/70D15 spare in my El Camino. The mini donut one. Had it almost as long as the car. Checked it the other day only to find it has sidewall cracks.

Looking locally no one can get this tire. Has anyone else recently bought one of these ?

 I'm imagining you meant 215?

Oh now I get it. I thought you kept a mini donut spare that was a match for a 215/70/15 tire.

That's interesting - the last time i was in the local pick a part they had an early 80s regal

I could check and see if it still has the spare ( not till next week at the earliest)

Look for cracks in the tire. Its age that does them in not mileage.

Hi Darryl I have a Firestone Donut Spare on a GM Rim 125/70/D/15 holding air, probably never mounted and no weather checking on the tire, the rim is a little rusty. I had it as a spare for my now departed 2 vehicles. It is yours if you want it. Let me know.
