I just bought a 64 Pontiac custom sport everything looks great except for all the lower body rocker mouldings they are all pitted
Anyone selling some that are in great shape
I'm the bearer of bad news. Good CS ribbed potmetal trim pieces are almost nonexistent. Excellent are unicorns.

was just keeping these to see what if anything I could do to fill the screw holes..they are probabley in same shape as yours..? and yes still got the old chitty phone, with same pics..haha
You could fill the holes, but you would also have to fix the broken mounting tabs Bill.
Potmetal is hard to fix.

Geez... makes me wonder if these mouldings could be 3D printed and chromed, since good ones are so hard to find. Once the printing files are made for these they could be reproduced as much as needed. I imagine it would be a very time consuming process, though.

Just a thought.
Size is also a factor, because one of the pieces is 5+ feet long.
I've often thought about getting them machined out of aluminum, but they are quite intricate.
