RE: 66 Strato Chief 2 door Post

It would be less work to just back half the car at the door post with another donor. But then again, why not fix the donor? This is a six car after all, not a Jet Flame 427.

Sure, but would you pay six grand for it?

No, hence my first post. But there is still some parts value in it.

If Mechanic Jack can do this, the Strato should be easy

I could repair that car. It may take some work but I could. It ain't rocket science.

I think it would be worth saving due to the scarcity of the car.  We're always seeing solid 4-doors on kijiji and whatnot that have been sitting in some farmer's filed on the prairies.  One of those should be usable for most of the needed parts, wouldn't it?

One would think the car could be bought for much less than asking, give the amount of work and skill it would take to fix it.  I know I couldn't do it, and there aren't a lot of people out there who would be willing to take it on.

Mechanic Jack didn't have to work with "real" thick metal!
