The wix 51016 is a Ford application filter fram number ph8a. Fits older V-8 and six cylinder engines. The other spin on 51258 fits older olds and Buick, fram number ph25.

The PH8A fits a ford 5L like a 90s Mustang. There is also a Chevy V8 spin on conversion that takes this filter, I have one on my 409. It has a bypass built in to the filter as opposed to being on the block. Fits all SBCs too and likely the later BBs.
