Shirley you can't be serious

So I'm shopping on Amazon for 15" tires for my 66. I find this listing. This is for ONE of these tires-

$133.00 each for BF Goodrich radial TA at Canadian tire. Just have to find a store that has them in stock?

Ya, Amazon does have cheaper prices until they are out of stock. Then these resellers get involved

Can tire is pretty much out of stock of everything in our classic car sizes

Summit has then Kinergy ones, Carl.   Decent prices on summit still,  if you can get locally.

I'm just kicking tires, so to speak. I don't even have the rims blasted or painted yet. If I have to wait a bit I can do that, the 14" setup on my car now only has about 4000 miles so it's not pressing. But I do look forward to a drop in RPM of about 200 with the taller tire.

Thanks, I will do that. I don't even know for sure which size but I think it will be 225 70 or 75 15.

I have 215-70-15 on the front, a pie crust 8 inch wide, 28 inch tall, 15 inch on the back.

By my calculations using excel to calculate:
1. 215-70-15=26.85 in
2. 225-70-15= 27.4
3. 225-75-15=28.29

Sidewalls are so crushed down and bulged these days, if it was me i'd go with the 75 just for the appearance factor.  taller sidewall the better as far as im concerned,   gives it a more stock appearance without spending mega bucks on cokers.   Id get 85 series tires for my stuff if i could find them in my sizes

Dave, you don't happen to have an old 225 75 15 tire do you? I'd like to find one to try the fit on the front. I think it would be ok but I'd like to make sure.

Oh that would be perfect if I could borrow it. This sounds like an excuse for another visit! Not in the next few days though, it's starting to look a little white outside!

No rush, don't make a special trip out there to check. It might be a week before we are in the city again.

Play around on

1010TIRES.COM® Tires and Wheels Online Authority.

Canadian Site.

The tire size calculator is very informative.

Tire Size Calculator - Tire and Wheel Plus Sizing (1010tires.com)

I have never bought from them but I am always comparing tires there.

About $140 delivery to Morris  wink

I've never done much with Firestone but these appeal somehow and it is a tire that I can get through my former work at a good price. I like the tread pattern on it.

Anyone have Firestone experience in recent years?  I know decades ago they weren't a great tire but I haven't heard anything bad recently.

Crap,  those look pretty good,  and i see that they also come in a 235/75R15 Extra load.   i wonder how much more they are compared to the Trendsetters we just bought?  cause the trendsetters are only a SL rated.

Would you believe a set of 4 would be $335 more than the Trendsetters..... I just looked.
