1964 Custom Sport Wheel Cover Wanted - Winnipeg Area

Does someone in the Winnipeg area have an original wheel cover for a 64 Custom Sport? I'm actually not even looking to buy one. Just looking to come and see you with my bare rim and see if it fits the rim properly.

I am not near you but have snapped mine on all kinds of wheels and the work well. Perhaps you are trying on a wheel I have used before?

hi Carl - just coincidentally i did a a recent checking of my hubcap inventory and i can pretty honestly say i don't have a a 64custom sport hubcap.

However i do have what i believe to be a 63 full size cap

I am wondering if the 63 and 64would have used the same rim design - if so i would offer this up for your fitment test

When I got my 63 there were 1964 wheel covers on the original rims.

the difference between 63 and 64 is on the 64 there are three "spokes" (evenly spaced)  removed from the face design.

so yes I would say Don is right, they are the same rim design.

Kind of a long story but I'm doing some scientific research along with another CP member! I think he will see this and likely give me some input. If it looks like that will help us out (and I think it will) I'll take you up on that. Either way I'll let you know Don, thanks for the offer!

Don, we have been discussing this in emails and I would like to stop by your place some time with a bare trim to try your wheel cover please.
