 The federal government is expected to announce later this week it is dropping the negative PCR test requirement for Canadians returning from the U.S. for any trip less than 72 hours.

The policy change will cover both citizens and permanent residents. It is expected the new rules will come into effect at the end of November or early December.

Well looks like we still need the test before we come back for awhile in December. Only good thing is that we have found a place where we can get them for free.

My boss was stuck in Kamloops and decided to go east and then drop into the states and come back up to Vancouver. The border guards waved him through when he said where he came from. It would seem they had the ability to bend the rules.

 No data plan but yes, I can use the wifi on the phone. But I don't know enough about it, I thought we had to do it when we were just ready to come back to Canada. If I can do it ahead of time that will work.
