1958 Stratochief.

So here`s hoping pictures post Normal, not huge or tiny little thumbnail photos. The complete car is the stratochief, the one missing all the parts is a laurentian hard top. The rust in the roof on the hardtop is something i don`t want to tackle, and i`m one of the odd guys who prefers sedans anyway.

i`be got the chief almost stripped down, am currently doing patching on all the loose parts and getting those in primer and put away so i have room for the chassis restoration and floor replacement.

Have not figured this forum out for pictures yet.

At the bottom of where you posted your reply there is  a spot for attaching files...images..

Dont worry if they are in sideways or upside down.... one of the moderators will make adjustments for you.

I dont like thumbnail pics either and I use 14 for a font when possible.

Using safari- every forum i`m on posts photos differently. Some are really easy, some i have to post from a hosting site, but i don`t seem to be able to upload to that either. Can post to facebook, i`ll figure this one out too. Maybe

If you want to email them to me I can post them for you. I don't know if Safari works on here but others may chime in here and tell you.

I'll message you with my email address.

So, this is working. also shown is some of the work done so far.
the inner fenders are both done and put away, and am currently rebuilding the driver side fender.
there is some more progress not shown yet. The goal, not always achieved, is no body filler.
I get impatient sometimes and dont cool the welds enough.

I am looking for the headlight bucket as the one i have is just lace rust.
Need a reverse light housing, passenger side, and two lenses.
There will be a fair amount of laurentian trim available soon, possibly doors and a few other items soon. All the glass was broken
Most of the dash guage glass in the laurentian was vandalized
