Lovely car. Tastefully modified. Such a different sound.

It's a little painful to see that he modified such a rare car, but I give him total respect for actually driving it so much, and for doing such intelligent and tasteful modifications.

I would love to drive it!!

But not Leno. Give him credit for driving it as well.

I'd like to own an original 69 Firebird Sprint, or even a Lemans, with the 250 ci 4 bbl OHC 6 and a manual trans. Probably hard to find now.

Id take a 66 or 67 LeMans post with the Sprint option. The give it the same treatment Mr Leno did.

I put small block Chevies in them in the 70s. Too hard to find a Pontiac engine. I even put a 300 Buick v-8 in one for a customer. The customer had a rusty Buick Special that ran great and asked if we could put the engine in the Firebird. Most of the ohc sixes were burning oil, generally worn out before the car.
