I have what I believe to be an original bench seat 4 speed shifter setup for 64-67 Beaumont/Chevelle and 63-64 full size Canadian Pontiac and Chevy. I do know it is NOT correct for 65-67 full size Pontiac/Chevy. If you know that I am wrong with my listing, please let me know. I have tried to determine exactly what the handle fits but there are SO many opinions online about this topic as to what is correct, I don't know what to think any more. I do know that if the handle isn't exact for the above applications, it's very close to the correct shape.
This shifter body works fine (as you can see in the video) but it could maybe use a bit of a cleanup and greasing. I bought it a couple of years ago in Arizona and it has some dry powdery rust but it's not rusty as in pitted, etc. I can gladly do the cleaning and greasing for the buyer if he would like.
The only issue I can find with this shifter is the knob is extremely aged and I am not able to unscrew it from the handle. I didn't want to break it trying. The chrome on the handle I would describe as being really good driver quality. It's not show chrome but it is a very nice piece.
I am asking $350 for the setup. The same thing sold about a week ago on ebay with no linkage, just the handle and body. It went for $495 US. I don't sell on ebay any more and much prefer selling to members here.
Once I remove the shifter from the tranmission it's mounted on I could email or post some separate still photos here if needed.
