Who can forget that original 427Carl feature car?

As a little throwback to the beginning of the feature car series... going though all of them, working on that list to include thumbnails of all the cars, I went to the #1 car and it punched me back in time.

I wanted this car so bad when Carl put it up, I dreamt and talked some game, but with no funds It couldn't happen then (sorry Carl). I still love this Strat Post. Is it the clean white? The 427? The 4 speed? The condition... All of the above I'd say.

But really, most of all, we should remember it was Carl that was the main attraction. I still have his business card with the Strat on it. Does anyone else?

Go and have a look back at all the cars, you'll be surprised at how many you remember.

I do too. Sadly, according to Carl, it is in a collection and not seeing the light of day.cry

I have his business card still, and a teddy bear blanket (now our cat's blanket) that he sent me.

I also have the white Super Duty (F**d truck) hood scoop that was, at one time, to go on Carl's Chief.

A great car. I was fortunate enough to go for a ride and it worked VERY well.

It took a long time for the 400 plus feet of rubber to wear off the highway when he left my place after our BBQ! Outstanding car Carl!

That car was the reason I was so excited about getting my post car when it came up for sale. Until this forum and Carl's car it had been only Grande Parisiennes for me.

Yeah and Im sure we all miss Carl too. He was a one of a kind. Best sense of humour ever and so generous. Trust he is doing well.

I see he still logs in from time to time but we seldom see him posting here.
