Darryl... Just a touch of reality for you "east york city slickers". That's been the NORM in most of the province outside of Toronto for the the last 8-10 months. Checking CP tracking and they give you the expected delivery date, roll the dice, maybe it gets here maybe it don't.
I had a plain white van show up in my driveway on a Sunday morning this June. Non- English speaking person gets out and hands me 3 packages and then jumps back in the van and beats it down the road.
One package from Canada post, one package from Amazon, one package from DHL..... 3 different shippers same delivery truck!@!??
DHL package damaged, says on package if its damaged to refuse delivery. I return it to seller, pay the shipping twice, (once to buy it, once to return it) DHL send me an invoice for delivery charges after I've returned it. Then doesn't believe its damaged, why didn't I refuse it, why didn't I call them..... THEN they want to take me to collections for NON Payment.....
You can read between the lines
Sorry for the rant, had to get it off my chest

I have 2 packages coming to my US mailbox from fedex that stalled 4 days ago. Hoping they would arrive before they put border land crossings back into lockdown
