I honestly don't know how they keep that brand alive with the generic products they have offered for the last number of years. Their heritage is so stunning, with so many really distinctive, cool cars that to see a Buick today is just kind of sad. I seem to have heard that it is just the name  status overseas that keeps it alive.

My first hand-built hot rod/cruiser was/is a 1939 Special four door that I drove from here to Victoria and over to Newfoundland and back and all over the province as my primary summer vehicle so I have an attachment to the heritage.  I don't drive it much at all anymore but whenever I do I still am impressed at how well built, roomy and good looking the old girl is. And that was the cheapest Buick you could buy in 1939.

Young folk don't care about heritage.
