Belated best wishes to everyone for the Festive Season. Did that Ottawa-Toronto run often in the winter, during the early '80s, and saw some pretty ugly stuff along the way. I'm sure your son is counting his blessings, Todd.
Yes, I'm EXTREMELY thankful! He got a lesson today on how to check the tread depth of his snow tires. Another gift is he's decided to move back to PEI hopefully towards the end of February and will be living with us. He wants to start working our land. He's also keen to start learning some new skills- working on the car, welding, painting etc. We've already told him this property is his when we're gone so he may as well start early doing with it what he wants. We may even see a small second home built on the land. We are really excited to have him back on the island. Our farmhouse has four bedrooms so there's lots of room.
Glad to hear he was okay, we had freezing rain last week and its unbelievable how slick it is. My driveway might have a 3-4% slope and could slide down on my shoes.
