heat riser question


Friend has a 67 396 Beaumont. He bought a new heat riser and it hits the frame. Is there different ones out there for Impala that dont fit Beaumont?

Is he sure it is clocked right? In my old cars, the flapper tab is on the left when leaning over the passenger fender.
