Since it's after midnight in Manitoba, I want to say happy birthday or anniversary to Canadian Poncho. 

Thank you Todd for creating the best car site on the internet. I've learned so much in 14 years. The most important lesson I've learned here is there's still a lot to learn about our cars!

Wow, I'm blessed with many new friends because of this site.

 Funny, I was in the garage this afternoon wondering if I should offer to host a garage coffee break. I'm not even sure what the law says right now. I suspect maybe a few of us could gather here if we're vaccinated but I don't know for sure.

Hi guys,

It feels like it's been longer than that.

I see Todd has been a member since Jan 13, 2008 (the 14 year calculation)
but I've been a member since Jan 14, 2008, which means CP was only 1 day old when I joined ?
I do recall there were a lot of other guys on here and lots of content even on Jan 14, 2008.

Todd, is it possible Jan 13, 2008 was the start date of a new platform and CP actually pre-dates this ?

Just my OCD kicking in, or actually CDO (so the letters line up in the right order).

You are right Scott. I started the forum on this platform on Jan 13. IIRC it was on a Sunday. Back then you could advertise the forum on Kijiji and we got a lot of members that way. Now we rely on search engines and word of mouth to get new members (as well as the Facebook page)

Yes, it was a Sunday.  signed up that night when I saw the ad on Kijiji.  I still can't believe my wife allowed me to be spending my time online that night, Jan 13th is her birthday!

Congrats and many thanks to Todd.  You have truly upped the collective wisdom of Canadian Pontiacs (and the other unique GM of Canada brands) for everybody and have even helped out members in other continents who have export cars!

Can't remember how I first found the board.  I think I was doing an internet search for something Canadian Pontiac related and was delighted to find this place as info for these cars was few and far between back then.

It's been fun and interesting to say the least.  smile

Wow, had to go all the way to page 8 to find when I joined. Amazingly that was only 26 days after the start so word sure did spread fast.
Have met many exceptional Pontiac people over the last 14 years.
