Homebuilt car built on a Pontiac Solstice

Wow! I hope he started with the GXP version.

Not a lot of details from the builder. I saw this on a Homebuilt Car group on Facebook

Looks good. Part Ghia, part Opel GT to my eyes.

I wonder if it has the original Solstice engine or if it has been modified/upgraded? Hopefully modified/upgraded.

I'd hope he'd at least have started with a GXP as it had the turbocharger and made 260 hp which may be enough depending what the body is made of.

More info and photos from the owner:

As requested, here’s a bunch more pictures of the build. The body is made from epoxy resin, fiberglass and some carbon fiber. No kit, no molds or plugs, it was all made using techniques I’ve been developing over the years. All body filler (pink stuff in the pictures) is custom made epoxy based filler (no standard bondo/body filler was used). It took me about 18 months of nights and weekends to finish it. The gauges are from Dakota Digital with faces they made custom for me.
