So after doing a lot of reading online it seems like the best affordable vise with a decent level of quality is one made of ductile iron. Princess Auto has a 5" coming up, available Feb 14th for $84.99. I had my eye on that but then decided a 6" would be nicer for $159.99. I went to Princess today to see how they looked and had decided to spend the extra money for the 6". Nice surprise when I got there, the 6" is one sale right now for $127.99 even though it's not advertised anywhere that I can find.
