Has anyone tried this obd2 plug in to save fuel.  What was the cost/result

Sharon just bought one!! Going to install it to-day on 08 Pontiac Torrent. Says you need at least 150 miles before it kicks in after seeing your habits. Instructions say to hit re set button for 1 minute?? I'm assuming thats the one on dash as no button on plug in?? May take a week or so to see if it works or a SCAM???
